Economics education for children still needs to be deepened at the theoretical level by researchers investigating childhood's specific educational issues. The few existing studies are mostly practical and based on a psychological approach focused on children's behaviours and decision-making skills development. The research in this field usually does not go into the epistemological issues of this specific education relevant to human life. Our study aims to reconstruct the scenario mentioned above regarding early childhood economics education by showing its ambiguity. The first part of the study will be carried out by considering the scholarly literature regarding early economic education in early childhood and its interpretation from a critical perspective. This phase will utilise a dialectical and historical-comparative research methodology supported by citations of authors' theories investigating the main topics the article is about. Data mining and a research methodology based on text analysis will analyse some Russian and Italian texts on economic education in the second phase. The article will identify a list of principles that can serve as guidelines for outlining an authentically human economics education
