The paper proposes an analysis of a new educational methodology that can be done outdoors: Geodance. The specific epistemology and some strategies based on symbolical mediation are briefly described. Then its applicability is analyzed in a specific and particularly congenial con text which is the garden in general and/or medieval vegetable garden; here the Geodance reveals the multiple educational implications, mainly regarding the training of the person in his/her complexity and capacity for communion with living beings.
