The study aims to provide a reporting tool that allows sporting event organizers who follow the ISO20121 standard to link the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) disclosures with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets. After analyzing the sustainability reports of Gold Coast 2018, we noticed that the event had a signicant impact in reaching SDG 11's targets under 11.2, 11.3, 11.4, 11.6 and 11.7.
