The development of employability and leadership are two of the main aims of university education. For a graduate expert in Sport and Exercise Sciences, it is crucial to develop soft skills and critical-reflexive abilities for the design and implementation of motor and sport activities in order to cope with sport for all principles, based on the specificity and needs of different population groups. The European Sport Leadership Programme (ESLP) is a pilot research project in Europe with the objective of fostering leadership development and improving employability among students enrolled in Sport Science degree programmes. Lo sviluppo del potenziale occupazionale e della leadership sono due tra le principali finalità della formazione universitaria. Per l’esperto in Scienze Motorie e Sportive è fondamentale lo sviluppo di soft skill e di capacità critico-riflessive per la progettazione e implementazione di attività motorie e sportive capaci di rispondere alla domanda di uno sport for all, che si fonda sul riconoscimento delle peculiarità e dei bisogni delle differenti fasce della popolazione. Lo European Sport Leadership Programme (ESLP), rappresenta un'esperienza pilota in Europa volta a favorire lo sviluppo della leadership e a migliorare l’employability negli studenti dei Corsi di Laurea in Scienze Motorie. Il lavoro presenta i risultati d e l p r o g r a m m a E S L P i m p l e m e n t a t o nell’Università Foro Italico di Roma, con la finalità di mettere in luce la percezione degli studenti partecipanti rispetto alle soft skill necessarie per la leadership che ritengono di aver sviluppato o migliorato.
